Yahto & Vixen
the fated ones
Even at a young age, each pup was distinctly different from the others. Not just in appearances or developing personalities, but something else. As the family traveled from place to place, each child thrived in different destinations. Once they were old enough to venture out on their own, they each chose a spot different from each other to call home. As the young canines settled into their new lives, something strange happened. One night, right before the passing of that day, light blossomed among the stars and shone onto each pup. None of them woke, but something in them had suddenly changed. Their homes had claimed them as protectors, and their lives would never be the same again. |
THE RULESAbsolutely no breeding, trading, or selling without permission from myself. If you no longer want the puppy, offer them back to me! Most likely I will buy them back for what you bought them for + more depending on art! |

ROWAN
guardian of the forest Being the oldest of the seven, Rowan quickly developed a level of maturity that the others didn't. He was always very quiet and watchful of his siblings and more protective than anything. He was always the first to help one of them when they needed it, and he quickly became the first one that they would come to. They looked to him for guidance, especially when something started to go wrong. He became a problem solver, somewhat out of necessity because everyone expected him to have the answers, but he didn't have a problem with it either. He loves to help when he can and will always gladly step up in a situation he understands. He has always been somewhat modest and quiet, especially compared to the rest of his family. He loves to listen to everything around him, rather than engage.
As a child he would always sneak off into the woods and watch the animals that lived there. He was always fascinated by how large a forest could be and how much wildlife lived there. He could spend hours in just one area because everything was always changing around him. He loved the sounds of the trees and the wildlife; how it could be so quiet yet screaming with activity. It was always the place he would go when he was angry or frustrated about something. He always felt calm when there were trees above him. When he left the family, he went north to the Taiga biome, specially Russia. He hardly ever leaves the comfort of the forest, unless to visit his siblings. More often than not though, they come to visit him, which suits him just fine. He gained the ability to help plants grow and nurse them back to health. He spends his days helping the forest around him flourish. |
AMUN
guardian of the desert Although he was born second, he often likes to think of himself as number one. Where most of his siblings are all fun and games, Amun is very serious and doesn't joke around. He is always very straightforward about things and does not beat around the bush. He can be very rough and harsh sometimes, and his siblings often think of him as the 'mean one' of the group. He has a bit of a temper and does get annoyed pretty easily. He was known to explode when he gets too angry, and it's not uncommon for him to yell. His siblings learned to walk on eggshells around him when he was in one of his moods, not daring to anger him further. He would get frustrated easily if he couldn't do something better than everyone else and quickly alienated himself from his brothers and sisters.
Amun would rather be alone most of the time and easily learned to fend for himself. He would always go off on adventures on his own and didn't spend much time around his family. In the few times he would be with his siblings, he would almost always end up arguing with one of them, so he found it easier to keep to himself. When the family was traveling through the Sahara, Amun decided to stay behind and build a home there. He enjoyed the heat, the sand, and mostly the emptiness that the desert held. There was no one around for miles and he could be alone for as long as he wanted. He gained the ability to create sandstorms and would spend hours in the middle of nowhere just spinning sand into the air. |

ELARA
guardian of the night Elara was the first daughter born of the two in the family. Surrounded by her brothers, she tended to keep more to herself than participate in their crazy antics. She was always a little mysterious and would often wander off on her own. She loved exploring caves and other dark, unknown places. She wasn't afraid of much, and usually let her curiosity guide her more than anything. She always challenged herself to overcome any fear she had, which is how she learned to love the night the way she does. She learned to recognize the sounds that other creatures made during the night and would attempt to imitate them at times.
When she did spend time with her siblings, Elara mostly got along best with her sister and their older brother, Rowan. The others annoyed her more than anything and they would get into fights with each other often. She spent more and more time to herself as she got older, and as soon as she felt confident enough to go off on her own, she gladly took the opportunity. She would mainly travel at night and would sleep in dark caves during the day. The nocturnal creatures quickly accepted her as their own and learned not to be bothered by her presence. Elara decided to stay in New Zealand, and lives in the Lost World caverns. She doesn't emerge often and doesn't visit her family very much. She continues to keep to herself as she did when she was younger and she enjoys it that way. She gained the ability to see in the dark and spends her time with her nocturnal comrades. |
NEREUS
guardian of the sea As a child, Nereus was always in love with the sea. Whenever his family was visiting a city close to the water, he was always off on his own in the waves. He learned to swim quickly, almost as if it was second nature and he never felt as relaxed on land as his did when he was in the water. As he spent more of his time in the ocean, he became good friends with the animals that lived there. Often he would see the same aquatic friends from old places in the new places they went to because they would travel along the coast in hopes he would turn up. Nereus loved to play with them and always begged his parents to stay longer whenever they decided to travel again.
Being a mid-aged pup (neither the oldest nor the youngest), Nereus always tried to get his siblings' attention. He was quickly named the fearless child of the family and his brothers and sisters would take turns daring him to do dangerous things; much to the dismay of their mother. He never backed down from a challenge, no matter how crazy it was - probably a trait he inherited from their father. He loves to show off a bit sometimes, but always just in good fun. Once he was old enough to leave his parents, he chose to go to the sea. Nobody was surprised, of course. He chose to set up semi-permanence in the Galapagos, but he will often swim with different pod animals elsewhere just for the fun of it. |

OCIEL
guardian of the sky If anyone was the easiest to get along with, it would be Ociel. From the beginning he was always the most carefree of the group. He was very non-confrontational and refused to argue with any of his siblings, even if they tried their hardest. He always had a "go with the flow" attitude, and was up for anything. He spent most of his young life trailing casually behind his siblings and following their lead as they did something else crazy, if only for the story he could tell afterward. He wasn't much of a talker and loved to spend extra time thinking and watching the clouds. Birds quickly became among his favorite animals to be around and he envied them greatly. He wished he could fly with them and would sometimes spend hours staring into the sky imagining that he could.
Ociel was always very creative and quickly earned the title of storyteller among the puppies. Each night his siblings would anxiously await whatever crazy tale he would spin. He was always a master of his imagination and loves creating new things. Once Ociel had gained the ability to fly, he chose to stay in the Great Dividing Range of Australia where he spends his days soaring through the mountains. Sometimes he will travel to other ranges in the world, but he enjoys this one the most! |
ELESTA
guardian of the arctic Even though they both went to opposite climates, Elesta and her brother Amun have a lot in common. She was the smallest of all her siblings, and always felt like she had to make up for it. She was tough, especially growing up with mostly brothers, and quickly became very stubborn and argumentative. She loved opportunities to prove someone wrong and hated it when someone else was right. She didn't put up with much and was known for walking away from conversations she felt were becoming unnecessary. As a child she loved the cold and was sick a lot of the time. Despite warnings from her parents, she was always exposed to the elements and almost froze to death on a few occasions. Even though she hated when they would, her siblings were constantly looking out for their little sister and her health.
She would anger easily, but it was a quiet anger. Unlike her brother who would explode in a heated rage, she would draw into herself with an icy silence. It was hard to approach her when she was angry, and her siblings learned to leave her alone to calm down. She loved to stand out in the cold and feel the wind on her face; it soothed her the most. She always had a sense of independence and would get angry if she couldn't do something herself. She would never admit when she needed help, and would most definitely never ask for it either. When she left to the icy tundra of North America, her family worried that she would freeze to death within a few weeks of being alone. She chose to make her home in the Queen Elizabeth Islands and quickly developed the ability to withstand extreme cold. She could stay in the snow for days and never freeze. Her younger brother Luken still checks on her often, forever worried about her. |

LUKEN
guardian of the lost Admittedly, from the beginning he was the trouble-maker. It quickly became apparent that he took after his father and had inherited his taste for adventure. Being the youngest of the group, he always felt the need to stand out against his siblings. It didn't always come easy for him though, and he was always working toward something better. He was always trying new things and encouraging his siblings to do the same. Once, while all the pups where jumping from cliffs into some water below and Luken hit his head on some rocks below the surface. He wasn't majorly hurt, but from that point forward he was much more careful; with his own safety and that of his siblings.
He wasn't the trouble-maker anymore, and he didn't push himself like he used to. He would still participate in the crazy ideas that his siblings had, but he would more often spend his time watching the others to make sure they weren't going to get hurt. They accepted his role as watchman and almost always listened to him when he would tell them to be more careful. As he grew older, there wasn't one specific place that he felt a connection to. He did branch off on his own, but he continued to travel like his parents. He mainly enjoyed the Americas, trekking from one end to the other of both continents. He visits his siblings often as well, always making the effort to stay in touch. He had gained the ability to act as a bridge between here and the afterlife and would seek out lost souls that need guidance, both alive and deceased. |
